The club championship season comprises three sprint series and one endurance series, these series are spread out across the year from January to December.
Sprint series race meetings consist of 5 classes, each of which are raced for two minutes on each lane of the host's track. Each five round sprint series has five classes selected from the list of approved classes. At the end of each sprint series, members vote on which two classes are to be removed in the following series and which two classes will replace them. The two classes with the most votes are removed, while three classes with the lowest votes are carried across to the new series. Members also vote on which two approved classes are to be added to the following series.
Points are awarded for each race in a sprint round in the following manner:

Non-financial members and guests are permitted to race in championship sprint races, however, they will not acquire points and they will be removed from the race leaderboard so they do not affect point allocation to participating financial members. For example, if a guest driver wins a sprint race they score no points, the next highest placed financial member is allocated 20 points as if they had finished first in the race.
Endurance rounds, also known as enduros, have longer heats and simulated fuel consumption. There are usually six championship enduros per season and are held before after after each sprint series.
This team endurance format starts with a qualifying sprint race, the results of which determine the teams that will compete in the two longer endurance race stages. The timing system simulates fuel usage and if you run out of fuel your laps will not count until you refuel. During a fuel stop another driver from your team will replace your car with theirs and take over driving for their "stint". Two or more cars must be used for each heat and are changed during. This endurance format will usually run for two hours.

Final Enduro Championship scores are determined by dropping each driver’s two worst results, including DNF’s and ‘no-shows’. Rounds of the Porsche Cup may also be run at an Enduro night if flagged in advance and where time permits. The winner of the Enduro Series is awarded the Founders’ Cup.
Towards the end of the year, there is a three round series to commemorate the contribution to the club of our great friend Stewart Clode. Details of this Series are settled annually but classes usually include Fly(slot) Trucks. Alvaro A has donated a perpetual trophy for the yearly winner of this series.
Wednesday night racing is a casual, weekly event with no scoring. It is run with three classes and the heats are three minutes long. Wednesday night racing often features new cars or trials possible new classes to see how they might fit into future championship series. When choosing classes, the host may choose to restrict or relax some class rules, e.g a GT3 race may be restricted to the Sideways brand, or a Touring car race may have the age limitation extended.
Racing for Championship rounds starts at 7.00pm or earlier if all RSVP’s are present, in addition, track owners generally arrange for access to the track at least 30 minutes prior to the scheduled race time. While most race rounds are on Friday evenings, we have members with tracks in Bungendore and Wamboin, those rounds will be held on Saturday afternoons. During summer/daylight savings time these will start at 4:00pm, Mid-year, and when there is no daylight saving, they start at 2pm. Midweek meetings have a shorter run time in order to finish punctually at 9pm.
